Billboard 'NOT' Top 10 Rappers

Billboard released their list of Top 10 Rappers of ALL TIME!! ALL TIME!! First, 'of ALL TIME' is impossible to even gather! A lot of people are having issues with the fact that 2 Pac isn't on the list! A small percent of me agree's. So, let's go through this list: According to Jae Michelle. (If this list is in the order above)

1. Notorous B.I.G - is not #1. If TuPac isn't on the list then he shouldn't be either.

2. Jay Z - If they are referring to the past 2 decades. YES

3. Eminem - should be #1

4. Rakim - agreed but not so high up on the list. Even though he is very lyrical and is a trendsetter for his era, he's a 80's lyricist. Oh, but they did say of ALL TIME huh? still... not #4

5. Nas - #6 - I genuinely believe he did not win with Ether. He is lyrical and he does have a message. Nas is definitely a messenger! But I'd bring him down to #6

6. Andre 3000 - I'd rank him at #3 It can't get any better with "The Love Him Below" which put him in the 'musical genius' category. Outkast put Atlanta on the map! 3000 is beyond lyrical. His creative aura is another world.

7, Lauryn Hill - #4 Most people would not agree with this position because of the low amount of solo albums she put out, let me remind you that she got multiple awards for The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. You have to remember her flow and her voice in her work with the Fugees and her acting skills, which set her apart from any lyricist in Hip-Hop during her time!

8. Ghostface Killah - I don't agree with AT ALL!

9. Kendrick Lamar - Needs another 8 years . Not including his mixtapes and last 2 projects. He's not that established yet.

10. Lil Wayne - No.

I would liked to have seen 50 Cent on this list. Being that Nicki Minaj has been the leading female rapper for the past 5 years and counting, I wouldn't mind seeing her on this list. Especially since she's always at the top of the Billboard charts. But hey, I didn't make the list!! *Shrugs*

Nicki Minaj - Pills N Potions

Nicki Minaj "Pills N Potions" video is finally here! She has THE GAME playing the love interest in the Video. The Video is very artsy and eclectic. I think its pretty dope being that the song its self doesn't keep my attention. Although it has a very catchy hook. Pills N Potions is the first single off of Nicki's new album "The Pink Print" Dropping this summer.

Dom Kennedy artwork × tracklisting

GUCCI MANE - SAY THAT THEN

AFTER HIS RANT ON TWITTER YESTERDAY DISSING BASICALLY EVERYBODY IN THE RAP GAME!! HILARIOUS IT WAS!!! BUT HE ALSO RELEASED THIS TRACK!! COINCIDENCE? WAS HE HIGH ON CRACK LIKE HIS PEERS SAID? WAS HE TRYING TO GET PUBLICITY FOR HIS NEW PROJECT? EITHER WAY THIS SONG IS TRULY GUCCI MANE AND I'D BLAST IT!!

KENDRICK SPEAKS OUT ABOUT "CONTROL" RESPONSES

K DOT TALKS WITH PETER ROSENBERG ABOUT ALL THE "CONTROL" RESPONSES!!

THE MOST CONTROVERSIAL LINE:

On The "King Of New York" line:

It made me go back in and feel like I gotta probably dumb down my lyrics nowadays for the people that take it way out of context the way that they did. The irony behind it all is … the ones to really understood context of the line is the kings of New York that I met with this week. The cats that I’ve sat down with this past week. It’s not about what coast, it’s not about what side we on. It’s about being as great as Biggie and Pac, the two cats that I reference from jump. I feel like I’m a student. I’m a student of the work they did. Eventually when I put down my 20 years in the game I can eventually plant my foot and have that same type my legacy. But for people who are trying to make it something that it’s not, I would never try to take the history from what Pac and BIG laid. And, to keep it 100 with you, Snoop will always be number 1.

big sean ft. Kendrick Lamar & Jay Electronica

SO this song blew up over night! LITERALLY!! Not because BIG SEAN is a dope ass lyricist but because KENDRICK LAMAR killed everybody on this song!! Dude is a FUCKIN beast!! The best thing about this song is that even though kendrick "killed him on his own song", he still released it. Like Big Sean said in the beginning of the song "POWER MOVES ONLY!" King Kendrick is really earning his crown in hip-hop!!

leave you comments!!!
